Our second annual Dyno day & car show is happening May 3rd with FREE ADMISSION for spectators! 10am - 4pm at SSS Motorsports, Dyno running all day, show cars, prizes, merch, giveaways, food and drink along with a whole lot of fun!
The University of Alberta Formula Racing team will also be unveiling their 2026 competition car and showing off one of their previous cars!
Getting on the Dyno will be available to participants of the car show ONLY, participation in Dyno runs is NOT required to be in the car show. If you are interested in getting on the Dyno or showing off your car please read the info below and submit the application form!
The Dyno will be first come first serve on event day with sign up at roll in. This is NOT a tuning day, there will be NO tuning services available at the event. We predict 8-10 cars at minimum to go on the Dyno, we can not guarantee how many cars will get on it throughout the day. We have 2 more dates set and the Dyno is always here, there will be more chances to get on at this price and it is always available for pulls at our regular price of $250. The form below is to apply for the CAR SHOW ONLY, getting on the Dyno is NOT a requirement to be in the show but being in the show IS a requirement to get on the Dyno.
The show itself is not first come first serve and participants will be hand selected by our team. We encourage EVERYONE and EVERY CAR to apply, this is a modified and tuner car focused event meaning modified/built cars will take priority over stock cars. Who built your car, how much you spent, what parts you used, etc are not factors, this is solely to ensure the most variety and best show possible in the limited space that we have available. As you know from last year, the parking lot becomes a show in itself and we encourage EVERYONE to bring out their rides and show them off!
Car show participation will be $25, this includes a goodie bag plus entry for the multiple show awards. Payment is only required after being selected and confirming you will be in attendance, there is NO charge to fill out the form and apply below. Dyno runs will be an additional $125, this gets you 3 runs and your power graph. As the Dyno is first come first serve payment will be required on event day once you are confirmed to be going on, along with signing our Dyno waiver.
Participants will be required to have their car in the show space from roll in to roll out. If you can’t commit to this we understand and encourage you to come by, show off your car, check out everyone else’s but we can’t have anyone driving in and out of the show space during those hours.
Submissions close on Sunday April 19th, when selected a follow up email will be sent during the following week to confirm and provide more info.
VENDORS, as much as we want to, unfortunately we do not have the space at these events to open up application for vendor spaces. I have some ideas for events to collaborate on and work more with our local car community and groups such as yourself, I am all ears for any and all events you are planning, hosting, want to do, any ideas to work together or that we can help out with please reach out!
